NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)

Making A Difference Occupational Therapy provides no gap services to all children who require Occupational Therapy support as per their NDIS plan. However, please note we are only eligible to support families who are self-managed and plan-managed. If you are agency-managed and would like to seek therapy with us, contact us today to discuss your options!

Medicare

Children may be eligible to receive a rebate for up to five (5) sessions per calendar year under the Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan. To be eligible for this plan, you will require a Team Care Arrangement document provided by your General Practitioner (GP).

Please note that you will be unable to claim the rebate directly. You will be required to pay the full amount at the time of your child’s session. You will receive an electronic copy of your paid invoice which contains all the details required for submission to Medicare. You can claim the rebate back either in person at a Medicare centre, online, or via the Medicare smartphone app.

Private Health

Please contact your health fund prior to your first appointment with us to see if you are entitled to a rebate for your child’s session.

Please note that you will be unable to claim the rebate directly. You will be required to pay the full amount at the time of your child’s session. You can claim the rebate back either in person at your local Medicare centre, online, or via the Medicare smartphone app.

If your child is using a Medicare Plan for sessions, you will be unable to claim the gap through your private health fund.
