About Us

Making A Difference Occupational Therapy is a Paediatric Occupational Therapy service focused on supporting children, adolescents and their families to achieve and maintain independence in every aspect of their lives.

Making A Difference currently offers Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to children and adolescents aged 0-18 within the Greater Brisbane and Gold Coast Regions of QLD. These services can be provided within the child’s home or school environment, local park setting, or via telehealth. Availabilities for in-clinic appointments coming soon!

About Occupational Therapy

As Occupational Therapists, we consider occupations to be the tasks you engage in every day. These include the tasks you want to do, need to do and/or are expected to do. We take the time to understand each individual by identifying their occupational areas of strength and challenge to help tailor our assessment and treatment to their individual needs.

Occupational Therapist’s (OT’s) work with people of all ages to help enable their participation and independence in tasks and activities (occupations) they find meaningful. Occupational Therapy for children can assist with improving their social skills, play, attention and concentration, ability to manage and control their emotions, ability to cope with change, self-care, fine-motor skills and gross-motor skills, behaviour and many more!
